Once known as Island Café, our cozy Chesapeake café has undergone a fearless transformation. Fueled by passion, purpose, and a hunger for something bolder, we raised our axes, fired up the ovens, and reemerged as Viking Café—a place where every meal is made with grit, heart, and handcrafted flavor.
We are a family-run, veteran-owned café built on strength, hospitality, and community. Chef Olson—Navy veteran and culinary raider—leads the kitchen like a true Norse warrior, crafting bold favorites like our Viking Blood Coffee, the legendary North Wind Chili Bread Bowl, and rotating Chef's Raid Specials served hot and hearty.
